CELEBRATE WITH THE BREWERS OF MINNESOTA THIS YEAR WHEN MINNESOTA PINT DAY RETURNS

MN Pint Day pint glasses available at more than 55 breweries and brewpubs starting Black Friday weekend

MINNESOTA: Beginning on Black Friday, November 24, craft beer lovers are invited to visit more than 55 Minnesota craft breweries and brewpubs around the state to celebrate the 2023 Minnesota Pint Day, purchase limited-edition MN Pint Day pint glasses and even try a beer brewed just for the day at some participating breweries.

MN Pint Day was created by the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild (MNCBG), the state’s nonprofit association for craft breweries and brewpubs. The day, and the exclusive glassware, is designed to give MN craft beer fans a fun excuse to grab some friends, share a pint, and support their favorite breweries this holiday season.

“When craft beer enthusiasts gather and purchase beer, merchandise, or gift cards over the holidays, it has a huge impact for these small businesses and their communities,” says MNCBG Executive Director Jess Talley. “MN Pint Day is a great way to encourage fans to remember to buy local this holiday season.”

Individual businesses will decide how to celebrate MN Pint Day, what promotions to offer with their pint glasses, and how long to offer those promotions. Pint glasses can only be found at participating breweries and brewpubs while supplies last. Nine member breweries will also be brewing a specialty Golden Ale just for MN Pint Day. Look for it at

  • Bad Weather Brewing (St. Paul)
  • Foremost Brewing (Owatanna)
  • Half Pint Brewing Co. (Waseca)
  • Karst Brewing (Fountain)
  • Montgomery Brewing (Montgomery)
  • Sleepy Eye Brewing (Sleepy Eye)
  • Snarky Loon Brewing (Jenkins)
  • Spiral Brewing (Hastings)
  • Storm King Brewing (Minneapolis)

This year’s pint glass highlights water as the foundation of beer while also honoring different water-based features around the state. Beer is poured into the headwaters of the Mississippi and out of tap handles in Blue Mounds State Park, while a shining beer stein lighthouse calls the boats from Lake Superior into Two Harbors. A bottle-shaped corn tower stores water in Rochester, and the skyline by the Stone Arch Bridge is made of cans, pints, and other glassware. This year’s pint glass design was done by Lindsay Hendrickson of Kinney Creek Brewery. Lindsay has been making artwork for labels, apparel and more for Rochester’s first post-prohibition brewery for 3 years.
